İstanbul Ataturk Fen Lisesi - İAFL
İstanbul Ataturk Fen Lisesi - İAFL is a public high school of science. It was founded as the second high school of science in Turkey in 1982 within the scope of the Science School Project. The main aim of the high schools of science is to deliver a highly-academic and scientific education to high-achieving students to raise them as future scientists, engineers, and doctors. The school curriculum covers a general upper secondary education programme with a specific focus on science and maths subjects.
What are the organisation's activities in the field of this application?
IAFL is involved in several international projects, including eTwinning and Erasmus+, to help its students gain insight into environmental matters and be motivated to change their lifestyle. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the students carry out several activities and build environmental consciousness. Students discover and learn how to pursue a sustainable/ecological life together with how to use digital tools to use; the main aim is to make them a part of the decisions,

There are 495 pupils, aged between 14-18, 45 instructors, 5 administrators. İAFL is a boarding school with dorms for both boys and girls coming from different part of the country.
